Introducing our Third Giving Grants Winner, STEPS Pathways College!
STEPS provides independent living skills for disabled young people with autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome and more complex and/or profound needs. The college plans to use its grant to update its day college training resources to ensure they are fit for purpose for both the trainer and the student.
Our new FC Foundation Leader has arrived!
We're delighted to introduce you to our brand-new Foundation Leader, Suzi Borgelt.
While we say brand new, the lovely Suzi is actually a returning Flightie, joining us again after a 5 year "extended holiday," as she likes to say. Prior to resigning from Flight Centre in 2018, Suzi had been a Flightie for 17 years working between retail, web support and learning and development, however spent the majority of her career working as the Area Manager for Flight Centre's 24/7 Sales Teams.
In her role as Foundation Leader, Suzi's focus will be increasing our people’s engagement via volunteering and workplace giving as well as building relationships with our charity networks.
That's a wrap!
Last month we share news that our partnership with WIRES meant they could purchase a new ambulance, well this month we can share the wrapped version of the van in all its wildlife glory! See the full story here.
